Now that Kolab and Graplin are free, what should they do?
Kolab hung his head, peering up at Graplin.
“What do you think, Graplin?”
“I think we should run. Very far, very fast.”
“What?” Lanah’s screech had crows flying from their perches half a mile away. “Run away? What about getting rid of that evil wizard once and for all?”
“You see what happened last time we tried,” Graplin said. “He was too powerful then, and must be much more powerful now.”
Lanah drew herself up as tall as she could. Her nostrils flared.
“You didn’t have my help then.”
Kolab gave Graplin a beseeching look.
“Let’s take him out,” Graplin growled.
